How to Play with the LED Bocci Ball Set

Setting Up the Game:

1. Choose a Flat Playing Area:

   • Surface: Select a smooth, flat surface to play on. Grass or a hard court are ideal for bocci ball. The playing area should be large enough for you to throw the bocci balls (at least 12-15 feet long).
   • Clear the Space: Remove any debris, sticks, or rocks that may obstruct the game.

2. Turn on the LED Lights:

   • Activate the LEDs: Turn on the LED lights for each bocci ball by pressing the button on each ball. This will light up the balls for evening play and create a fun, glowing experience.
   • Check the Battery: Ensure the LED lights are fully charged and functional before starting the game.

How to Play LED Bocci Ball:

1. Set Up Teams:

   • Teams: Bocci ball is typically played with two teams. You can play individually (one player per team) or with teams of two (two players per team).
   • Ball Colors: Each team is assigned a different color set of bocci balls (usually red or green). One player from each team will take turns throwing the balls.

2. Start the Game:

   • Place the Jack: The game begins by tossing the small white ball (called the jack) onto the playing field. The goal is to get your team's bocci balls closest to the jack.
   • First Throw: One team throws the jack into the playing area, and then the first player of the opposite team throws their first bocci ball toward the jack.

3. Take Turns:

   • Alternating Throws: Teams alternate turns throwing bocci balls, trying to get their colored balls closer to the jack than the other team’s balls.
   • Scoring: After all players have thrown their balls, the team with the closest bocci ball to the jack wins the round and earns points. Only one team can score in each round, and they score one point for each of their balls that are closer to the jack than the opposing team's balls.

4. Continue Playing:

   • Next Round: The team that did not score in the previous round gets to throw the jack to begin the next round.
   • Game End: Play continues until one team reaches the predetermined number of points (usually 10-15).

End of Game & Pickup:

1. Gather the Balls:

   • After the game, carefully collect all of the LED bocci balls and the jack. The LED lights will automatically turn off when you stop pressing the button or after a period of inactivity.

2. Storage:

   • Storage Bag: Place the LED bocci balls and jack back into the provided storage bag to keep them organized and protected.
   • Turn Off the LEDs: Ensure the LED lights are turned off to preserve battery life.

3. Return to Tubular Inflatables:

   • Contact Tubular Inflatables when you’re ready for us to pick up the LED bocci ball set. We’ll take care of the rest!
