How to Use the Cotton Candy Machine for Rent

Start-Up Instructions:

1. Set Up the Machine:

   • Find a Stable Surface: Place the cotton candy machine on a level, stable surface like a table or cart. Ensure the area around the machine is clear and safe.
   • Plug in the Machine: Connect the cotton candy machine to an appropriate electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not near any water or food products.

2. Adding Sugar:

   • Use Only Cotton Candy Sugar: Make sure you’re using the proper cotton candy sugar to prevent clogs or damage. Tubular Inflatables provides pre-measured sugar bags for ease.
   • Open the Sugar Container: Lift the lid of the machine's sugar container and pour the cotton candy sugar into the center, filling it just below the maximum fill line (usually indicated inside the container). Avoid overfilling.

3. Power On:

   • Turn the Machine On: Switch the power on and allow the machine to heat up. Wait for the motor to start spinning, and the sugar to begin melting and turning into cotton candy.
   • Wait for the Spinning to Begin: You may need to wait for about 2–3 minutes while the machine warms up. The cotton candy should start spinning into floss as soon as the machine is hot enough.

Making Cotton Candy:

1. Use the Cotton Candy Cone or Stick:

   • Prepare the Cones or Sticks: Have your cotton candy cones or sticks ready. You can use paper cones, wooden sticks, or plastic cotton candy sticks.
   • Spin the Cotton Candy: Hold the cone or stick at an angle and place it just above the edge of the cotton candy spinner. As the floss begins to form, move the stick in a circular motion to collect the cotton candy. Continue spinning until the cotton candy reaches your desired size.

2. Serve:

   • Once you’ve spun a portion of cotton candy, pass the cone to your guests or guests can help themselves.

Cleaning the Cotton Candy Machine:

1. Turn Off the Machine:

   • Switch off the machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes before cleaning.

2. Clean the Sugar Area:

   • Remove the Sugar Bowl: Carefully remove the sugar container. Wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove any excess sugar.
   • Wipe the Inside of the Spinner: Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the interior spinner area. Avoid using too much water to prevent electrical issues.

3. Water Cleaning:

   • Water-Only Cleaning: The best way to clean the machine is to run a small amount of water through the system. Pour a little water into the center of the sugar container and power on the machine for about 1 minute. This helps dissolve any remaining sugar stuck in the machine.
   • Rinse Thoroughly: After the water is through, turn the machine off, and wipe all parts down to ensure no moisture is left.

4. Final Wipe Down:

   • After the machine has been cleaned and dried, wipe down the outer parts of the machine with a damp cloth to ensure a complete clean.
   • Dry All Parts: Let all components dry completely before packing them away in the provided storage container.
